When will Facebook hit the next milestone? A new NITLE market

The latest NITLE prediction market proposition concerns Facebook:

When will the number of Facebook users hit 200 million?

We consider this topic because of the obvious importance of FB to higher education. This time last year, the import would have concerned students; by this year, the number of staff, non-traditional-age-student users, has grown considerably.

For verification, we’ll use http://www.facebook.com/press/info.php?statistics, which now shows 175 million users.

Facebook hit that 175 milestone in February.

The NITLE predictions market is a free, multi-user game, aimed at grappling with emerging developments in technology and higher education.  New traders are welcome!
