Why not use technology? Six types of refusal

What motivates academics to not use technologies?  This typology outlines six different types of users, or sets of reasons.

Such an approach stems from considering the resistance to technology not simply as refusal: “Non-use is, often, active, meaningful, motivated, considered, structured, specific, nuanced, directed, and productive.“”
